Top 10 Metros Homebuyers are LEAVING
According to Redfin, more homebuyers looked to leave San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C. and Chicago than any other metropolitan area.
This doesn’t come as a huge surprise, particularly since remote work is more widely allowed post-pandemic.
In general, we’re seeing people leave expensive, coastal areas and head to more affordable, inland markets.
Also according to Redfin, the number of people has declined since last month, but this is likely indicative of season, higher interest rates, and a slower housing market.
